I went to Artfire to find a random item to feature today - found this - and fell in love! It's so perfect for the other things that are going on in my life right now! I searched for "wolf" because I have a story world forming in my head that involves wolves, and we are doing the Celtic Art focus this month in our Elf Sisters' Art Adventures , so it combines both! I'm going to have to see if I can draw it, I'm guessing the answer to that is a resounding no but I figure it doesn't hurt to try! That's what the art adventure is all about right?
Speaking of which - I do have a celtic art pattern in process for bead weaving but I just haven't had the brains to finish it :P Hopefully I'll do that soon and you'll get to see it.... next month?

Hi and thank you for featuring our Wolf Knot. You HAVE to try to draw it and this is why...The wolf knot is a traditional celtic knot that Coop was doing when I met him. As I became part of his life and was looking at his display, I found he didn't have a Horse knot. Having been super horse crazy as a girl, this just wasn't right. So I sat down to try to draw one out...not a clue of what I was doing...couldn't get it at all....So, I took the Wolf Knot and began to modify it and finally got it (with some tweaking from Coop) although I still wasn't happy with the ears. We went thru a couple of versions...the first couple of shows I kept hearing, "Oh look...it's a cow!" UHG! We were finally in a farm store somewhere that had little horse figurines and I brought it up to Coop and said, "See-the ears are more pointing up, not out." He says, "Oh I can do that" and that is how Wolf brought us Epona the Divine Mare! So, Draw!
Thanks again for featuring us! Katrina and Coop
That knot is gorgeous! I think I will try to bead it.
That wolf is so cool!
Can't wait to see your celtic bead weaving piece!
Oooh, very pretty! Hope you're doing ok, I think about you all the time :)
Celtic knotwork is _such_ a pain in the butt. I know some people who are really, really good at it but it always baffles me. Glad to see you're getting there!
